Easter Pew Reservations 2021
Due to the high positivity rate of COVID-19 in Dubuque County, Fr. Diehm and the Liturgy Committee have implemented a pew reservation plan for all Easter Day Masses. All people who are interested in attending one of the Masses are required to reserve a pew prior to the Masses.
Any person who does not reserve a pew using the pew reservation sign-up system will not be seated for the Easter Masses and will be required to leave.
While this is far from an ideal situation and one that pains Father and the Liturgy Committee, it is necessary for the safety of our communities. Also, masks are required to be worn during the entire Mass (with the exception of Communion) for all those attending.
An Easter Mass is planned to be pre-recorded and will be available on Easter Day. More information about the Mass will be shared on this website (home page) as well as in the bulletin. This could be a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to pray together and celebrate Mass in the comfort of your home.
Please know that because all things related to COVID-19 are constantly changing, Masses may be cancelled (the presiding Priest may be diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19), the Mass may not be pre-recorded (Father, Jim, or the technologies used may have issues), or something else may happen (the only thing that is predictable about this pandemic is that it is not predictable). Your patience is appreciated. Let us pray that we will be able to resume Masses as they "used to be" in the near future!
